Description

Edelbrock part #2901 Victor Jr. Sportsman 2V intake manifold is a dedicated design for the 2V racer and provides outstanding performance from 3500 to 7000 rpm. The runners are sized especially for 2V racing engines for the ultimate combination of torque and horsepower with better fuel distribution. An extra tall carburetor pad eliminates the need for spacers, and rear water outlets allow for a four corner coolant flow path if desired. It features dual distributor clamp locations, and port exits are sized to match cast iron Chevrolet Bowtie heads. Manifold accept standard restrictor plates and carb adapters. This manifold is a single-plane, high-rise intake designed for maximum race-winning power at higher engine speeds.

  • • Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock # 7217 or Fel-Pro # 1206 • Carburetor pad height = 5.98in. • Carb recommendations: Holley # 0-4412 (500 cfm) • No provisions for exhaust heated chokes or EGR. • Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals; such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant # 1076; DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS. • Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum. • Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage. • NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal. • To ensure maximum performance and a proper seal; Edelbrock gaskets which are specifically designed and manufactured for use with Edelbrock parts must be used. • Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Improper installation will void your warranty and may result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage. • Each intake runner should be matched to the cylinder head port size or Fel-Pro gasket # 1206 on all four sides of runner exit. • Manifold comes with special carb gasket matching plenum flange.
