Edelbrock part #29087 Victor Jr. LS1 intake manifold is a high-rise single-plane intake capable of supporting up to 600 hp. The Victor Jr. LS1 features a flange that accepts a square-bore carburetors. It can be used on LS2 applications when matched with MSD's #6012 LS2 ignition controller (available through MSD Performance). Includes a throttle bracket designed to work with 700R-4, 200R-4 and Turbo 350 transmissions. Most applications will require hood modification.

LS1 (24x) applications can be recognized by the rear mounted cam (A) LS1 Timing Control Module # 91238 works on LS1 24x reluctor wheel (crank trigger) applications only • LS1 (24x) applications can be recognized by the rear mounted cam position sensor which is black in color; while LS2 (58x) cam sensor is mounted in the timing cover and is gray in color. • Crankshaft sleeve # HP3795 and Flexplate # HP4004 is recommended when using a TH350; TH400 or 700R4 on a LS1; these items are available through Hughes Performance 800-274-RACE • Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals; such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant # 1076; DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS. • Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum. • Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage. • NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal. • DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NPT/Pipe fittings; this may cause the aluminum to crack around the fitting boss. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread. • Carburetor size (CFM) should be selected based on your specific engine combination. • To ensure maximum performance and a proper seal; Edelbrock gaskets which are specifically designed and manufactured for use with Edelbrock parts must be used.
