Description

Edelbrock part #7110 Street Tunnel Ram intake manifold is designed for 302-327-350-400 c.i.d. small-block Chevy V8's operating below 7500 rpm where low-end torque is not a prime factor. Great for engines with slightly modified heads. Will not fit 1987 and later cast iron heads. Use with cam kit #5002 for low-end torque or cam kit #7102 for top-end power.

  • • Top has vacuum outlet for power brakes • Manifold will accept forward and sideways mounted carbs • Carb recommendations: Edelbrock Performer Series # 1404 500 cfm; Edelbrock AVS2 Series # 1902 500 cfm for Forward mount ONLY. Holley # 0-9776 450 cfm for sideways mount ONLY. • Distance from carb center to carb center: 8.875in. • H.E.I. ignition will not clear manifold. • Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock # 7201. • Manifold height (top with bottom): A-9.00in.; B-9.60in.; Carb pad height: 9.30in. • Port exit dimensions: 1.12in. x 2.12in. • Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals; such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant # 1076; DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS. • Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum. • Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage. • NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal. • DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NPT/Pipe fittings; this may cause the aluminum to crack around the fitting boss. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread. • Carburetor size (CFM) should be selected based on your specific engine combination. • To ensure maximum performance and a proper seal; Edelbrock gaskets which are specifically designed and manufactured for use with Edelbrock parts must be used. • Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Improper installation will void your warranty and may result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.
