Description

Typically found in the induction system of the engine, Hitachi’s pressure sensors help the engine control module to manage engine characteristics to achieve the most efficient and longest lasting results. The sensor works by sending electrical signals to the ECM within a 0V to 5V range. The voltage is created by Hitachi’s highly sensitive and accurate piezoelectric crystals, which, when compressed by the pressure in the induction system, generates an electrical output.
