Holley engineering has taken their LS Retro-fit oil pans to the next level! The new Holley 302-3 oil pan provides even more sump clearance than the popular Holley 302-2 oil pan, includes two ½" NPT oil return bosses, and can clear a 4.00" stroke crankshaft. The geometry of the 302-3 pan was designed to remedy the steering rack and K-member clearance issues encountered when swapping an LS engine into a Fox Body Mustang using the stock OE, or Maximum Motorsports 5.0L K-members. This revised geometry also provides improved LS swap clearances in GM 1st-gen and 3rd-gen F-body, 3rd-gen X-body, G-body and 64-72 A-body vehicles, when using Hooker engine and transmission mounting components for these vehicles. Designed for LS engine retrofit installations in GM muscle car, GM truck and Ford Fox Body vehicles; provides more clearance at the front half of the pan than any other available pan. Profile of the sump has been revised to provide extra chassis and steering rack clearance. Includes two ½-14" NPT oil return ports to provide a convenient oil return for turbochargers. Provides OEM fitment - OEM oil filter mounting, OEM oil cooler port provision, OEM engine NVH suppression, OEM flange gasket and sealing, proper structural rigidity and OEM bell-housing attachments.
